I was admitted to St. Luke's in Houston on Sunday, August 16, 2020. I had nothing with me. I did not receive ANY personal hygiene products until the day before I left. I was not allowed any visitors because of the Covid outbreak. The first memory I have of the hospital was the horrible smell on my floor (22nd) and in my room. My stay at St. Luke's in Houston is a horrible memory. I was confined to my bed because of a strok e which left me very dizzy and unable to walk without fear of falling. Since they had started me on blood thinners, it was too dangerous for me to walk alone. When I needed to go to the restroom, I had to have a nurse help me. I assumed these would be female nurses, but 2 different males were assigned to me during my stay. They both went into the bathroom with me (which was mortifying enough), but they stayed in the room despite my requests that they leave. One of them even carried on a conversation with a male who had been walking down the hall in front of my open bathroom door! I would not recommend anyone to St. Luke's in Houston because of the lack of quality nurses. Of all the nurses I had, only 2...a young Pakistani man and a black young lady who was my nurse the last night I was there, were professional, kind and courteous. I truly commend these 2 young people for their kindness and compassion. The medical staff were knowledgeable and proficient; however, they were not all compassionate and kind. The two young people I mentioned are the ONLY reason I gave this review 2 stars!!

If I could give -10 stars I would. THE WRONG hospital ever, they think just about about money!!!!! They left my grand mother of 85 year go with her colapsé uterus go home, to ask for an appointment!!!!! And they charge more than 600$ In front of (meaning we pay before they did anything) for nothing. They did not help her or do anything about it!!! That was said by a nurse because ANY doctor take care of her or saw her!!! As I said before they told her that she needed to make an appointment for someone take care of her ... Probably it was because she did not have insurance you know NO MONEY, NO SERVICE! You will definitely hear of me again! WORST SERVICE EVER and sadly it’s not the first time that something like this happened before!!!
My surgery went well and everyone treated me well during it, but the billing is difficult and keeps trying to overcharge me. But overall I had a good experience in the hospital. The gown and room I got were clean and I was guided nicely through the hospital.
Great experience! Jeanne RN, took excellent care of me.

As far as Labor & Delivery goes this hospital is doing a great job. They are staffed with wonderful RN's who are kind, patient, knowledgeable, accommodating and much more. Their Lactation Consultant a brunette is also very sweet and helpful and greets you with a big smile. Clean facilities too. If you ever get taken care of by Jill(short blond hair, glasses I think), Jillian(goes by Jill, young, thin brunette), Gigi or Rachelle know you are in great hands!. My only complaint would be that hubby had to go out to buy his food as the price for food at the hospital was a bit high, the hospital was kind enough to offer a free celebratory dinner for both parents though :). Oh also if you are getting a c-section as I did the anesthesiologist are nice and staff that is in operating room is very professional. Good luck to all future mothers and good job L&D team.
This was my first time going to CHI St. Luke's. From the entry to the hospital and checking in with security to the XRay tech everyone I encountered was very professional, pleasant and helpful. They keep patients informed about any change in waiting time. The wait was appropriate. Would certainly recommend this facility.

I was admitted to Kindred southwest because I had pneumonia and was in there ICU. While being up there I received good care. I had improved and was moved to the 2nd floor. Being down here I have received the same care excellent!!
Everyone has been so kind and respectful when they have come in my room
My doctors are awesome.
Thank you all
Just came into a room and I see blood on the floor! Nasty place unhygienic this is a health hazard! So disgusting! And there was a nurse walking around with a big cold sore on her lip and no mask!
Our son, Luke had preop this morning.
Luke has Down syndrome and Autism.
The hospital is very focused on everything being done efficiently and sanitized.
The nurses were so patient and wonderful in getting all his tests done.
We met with Eric, an anesthesiologist, who listened and answered all questions.
We are feeling really positive and at ease.
We are so thankful for Medical City Ft. Worth.
Last here I had to have a major hernia surgery Dr Tan was incredible and the host staff at the hospital was very helpful very great couldn't ask for anybody better and I would use the hospital again and recommend it
I gave birth on May 31, 2020. The nurse and staff were wonderful my entire stay. The only issue I had was with RN Rayna. She was nice as well, but when it came to giving me an IV for my iron infusion, she blew my vein. I advised her that the IV was causing pain. She stuck me twice. When my midwife from the Acclaim Midwifes came into the room, we informed her of what happened and Rayna stated that she didn't know I was in pain AFTER I'd already informed her multiple times that the IV was burning and wasn't going in properly. I have never had anyone blow my vein as they are very prominent and work well. Anyway, the nurse-midwife from Acclaim put the IV in my other arm with ease, PER USUAL, and everything was fine after that.
Aside from that, the rooms were dirty. My labor & delivery room was so uncomfortable. The bathroom and room floors needed a good mopping and the room didn't even smell disinfection.
The post natal room where they take the mom & baby after birth was incredibly small. It was so uncomfortable, and it was DUSTY and dirty. The floors looked dirty, there was dust on several areas. The restroom was dirty, also. In need of a makeover and deep cleaning. I expected a cleaner room during the covid pandemic. Another room smelled disinfected and clean. Mine smelled dusty
Three years and thousands of dollars later and my grass doesn't look any better than when we started. I tried working with them but got little or no results. Service people were prompt and efficient but only know what they were told to put on the lawn. When it came time for follow up or questions answered it was difficult to get a response.
Been calling all day to try and get a new patient appointment.with an ENT doc in Otolarynoglogy. Prompt says hold because all reps are busy and then when I'm finally connected they disconnect me and then the process starts all over again. I call and hold for next rep and then get disconnected again. Ridiculous and very frustrating. Guess they don't care.Just finished reading these reviews and looks like you get lucky or not lucky here and getting your health needs taken care of. Makes sense from just this experience. Think I'll pass on this place and look elsewhere.
